Marble Sort — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-02
Marble Sort ("the app") is a colour-sorting puzzle game published by Rafael ("we"). This policy explains what information the app handles and why.
What the app stores on your phone
- The level in progress, your settings (sound, vibration, timer) and your progress (the next level, how many levels you have solved, your best time per level) are saved on your device. So are your album pieces, the daily puzzles you solved, your play streak, the look you chose and your reminder setting.
- So are a few counters that space out ads and offers: levels finished and when the last ad showed; how many ads showed today and in this visit; time spent playing; whether you own Premium; when the Premium offer was last shown.
- If you use Android backup, this game data is included in your own Google backup and can move to a new phone with you. You control that in Android Settings.
- Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in Android Settings, deletes all of it from the phone.
Usage analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
We use Google Analytics for Firebase, a service of Google LLC, to understand how the game is played: whether new players get through the first levels, how long levels and sessions last, which help players choose, how often ads appear and when players stop playing. It helps us make the game better and keep ads moderate.
The Firebase SDK sends Google:
- an app instance ID, a random identifier for this installation, plus the Firebase installation ID;
- events about play, such as a level started, solved or left, its number, moves and time, hints and the extra tube used, ads offered, shown or skipped, and the Premium screen opened, a purchase started, completed, cancelled or restored;
- device information: device model, Android version, language, country, time zone and app version;
- approximate location derived from your IP address;
- your device's advertising ID, where Android and your consent choices allow it.
What we never send: your name, email, contacts, precise location or any free text you type. These analytics are not linked to an account; the app has none.
Google processes this data as described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics property (at most 14 months).
Remote Config. We use Firebase Remote Config to adjust settings without an app update, such as how far apart full-screen ads are. It can only make ads rarer than the game's own limits. It uses the Firebase installation ID.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of the game screen, an occasional full-screen ad between levels, and optional videos you can choose to watch for a hint or an extra tube.
To show and measure these ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share with Google your device's advertising ID and app set ID, your approximate location (from your IP address), information about the ads you see and tap, and diagnostic information about the SDK. See https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. When our AdMob and Firebase accounts are linked, Google uses ad impressions and ad revenue to show us totals in Analytics.
Marble Sort Premium (in-app purchase)
Premium is an optional one-time purchase that removes ads (see the Premium screen for exactly what it changes).
- Google Play handles the payment. We never see or store your card or payment details.
- The app receives from Google Play only whether you own Premium, the product, its price and currency, and a purchase token. It uses them to turn Premium on and to restore it on a new phone or after a reinstall.
- Purchase events (product, price, currency) are also recorded in our analytics, as described above.
Daily reminder
- If you turn it on, the app schedules at most one notification a day on your phone, only when you haven't played that day. It is created on the device; nothing is sent to us or to anyone else to make it work.
- Turn it off any time in Settings › Daily reminder or in your phone's notification settings.
Your choices
- Consent. In the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws, the app asks for your choices through Google's consent message. Ad personalisation and ad-related use of analytics data follow those choices. Change them any time under Settings › Privacy options.
- Advertising ID. Reset or delete it in Android Settings › Privacy › Ads.
- Uninstalling stops all collection. To ask about data already collected, contact us (below); analytics data is tied to an app instance ID, not to a person, so include the approximate date you played.
- The game works fully offline; analytics and ads simply don't run then.
Children
The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.
